Tourism and Markets Coordinator
The holder of this role will lead/assist with the organisation and delivery of the Tourist Information Centre which also provides the 'first point of contact' for enquiries at the Town Council. He/She will also lead on the day to day operation of the Markets including the weekly (Thursday/Saturday) general market and the monthly Farmers and Crafts market and assist with the administration of events.
The holder of this role will share the organisation and delivery of the regular and ad-hoc markets with the Tourism and Markets Assistant and assist the Tourism and Events Manager in the organisation of both major events (Carnival, Remembrance and Christmas Fayre) as well as a variety of smaller events through the year. They will also assist in the day to day running of the Tourist Information Centre which also provides the 'first point of contact' for enquiries at the Town Council.
