The Town Council will be working alongside Bishop's Stortford BID to bring an exciting schedule to Bishop's Stortford to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022.

Event Diary

  • Beacon Event ~ Thursday 2nd June at 9pm by the War Memorial in Castle Park
  • Burying a Time Capsule ~ Saturday 2nd July at 11am in Monastery Park (more information can be found here)
  • Planting of a Queen's Canopy Tree ~ Saturday 2nd July at 11am  in Monastery Park
  • Children's Treasure Trail around the Town ~ starts Saturday 28th May till on Thursday 2nd June
  • Jubilee Themed Window Competition for businesses within the Town Centre ~ ends on Wednesday 25th May 
  • Jubilee Themed Art Installation on Benches throughout the town
  • Royal Theme for Carnival

Street Parties and Lunches

Applications are now open from East Herts Council for small grants, up to £300, to help celebrate the Queen's Jubilee in June.
