Carnival 2018

Home >> Carnival 2018

This year's event will take place on 16 June 2018 and the theme is Celebrating Stortford. The Carnival brings the community together to celebrate everything that is good about Bishop's Stortford and we are hoping that participants will showcase this. The event promises to be a great day out for all ages.

The procession starts from Rhodes Arts Centre, South Road, at 12.30 and consists of individuals, floats, walking groups, marching bands and dance troops.

The floats will process through South Street, Potter Street and Market Square, finishing on Link Road around 1.30pm. By then the fun on the field, which commences at 12 Noon and carries on until 5pm, will be in full swing. In total, over 100 community groups and other organisations are taking part.

These include charities, local businesses and touring attractions as well as a variety of entertainment for children and adults alike.
