Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan Newsletter No. 24

Welcome to the twenty-fourth newsletter from the Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan team.

***Vote in the Neighbourhood Plan referendum on Thursday, 7th September***

The second Neighbourhood Plan for Bishop's Stortford All Saints, Central, South and part of Thorley is going to referendum on September 7th 2017 and all those eligible to vote in the the Neighbourhood Area will be able to do so. Polling cards are being sent out soon so please contact East Herts if you either don't receive one or if you wish to register for a postal or proxy vote.

***Don't waste your vote***

Like the first, this second Neighbourhood Plan has been developed by the local community including representatives of residents associations plus several individual volunteers. It has taken us over two years to create and reach the referendum stage.  The plan does NOT advocate large-scale housing development but seeks to improve any development that does occur and help to ensure that it meets the town's needs in terms of supporting infrastructure.

***Go to our website for further information***

If you want further information about the plan, just go to our website at and download the final plan together with supporting information.   Alternatively, you can go to the East Herts Council Website which contains full information about the referendum as well.
