Cemetery Toilets substance abuse

Following a significant increase in substance abuse at the Cemetery Toilets the police have recommended that they be closed for a short period to discourage mis-use.  The closure will take place over the festive season.  Bishop's Stortford Town Council regrets the need to take this action due to the anti-social behaviour by a small number of people.

Neighbourhood Plan Latest Draft

A revised draft of the Neighbourhood Plan for All Saints, Central, South and part of Thorley Parish is now published and can be downloaded from the Neighbourhood Plan pages at www.stortfordplan.org . A Neighbourhood Plan cannot prevent development which forms part of the East Herts Council District Plan and has to operate within a legal framework. However, it can shape that development so that it complements the existing character of the town and helps to ensure that the necessary infrastructure is provided.

Please comment on the plan - you can do so either via the COMMENTS pages on the Neighbourhood Planning pages or email comments@stortfordplan.org before 1st February 2016.
