East Herts Council’s purchase of Old River Lane, a key site in the heart of Bishop’s Stortford, has opened up many exciting regeneration possibilities. Now is your chance to make your comments as East herts District Council prepares a planning framework for the town centre. It will provide a vision for future development and investment in the town centre, in order to maximise the potential of the town’s assets and inform the development of significant sites. The framework will provide a plan for the next 20 years, taking into account the town’s current and future economic role, along with movement and design considerations. It is being prepared by top architecture and urban planning practice, Allies and Morrison. Don’t miss your chance to comment – the deadline is the end of June.
