Reason:
Contrary to the Town Council Policy BSP002. The garage should be used for the housing of private vehicles and not as additional accommodation or for any commercial activities. This would ensure the continued provision of off street parking facilities in the interest of highway safety and to safeguard the amenities of adjoining occupiers in accordance with Policy ENV9 and appendix iv of the East Herts Local Plan 2nd review.

383. PLANNING DECISIONS
Members had been circulated with a copy of an email from Kevin Steptoe, Head of Planning and Building Control, East Herts Council in which he stated that the Town Council could contact the District Council to receive a full officer report when in receipt of a decision notice which was contrary to a Town Council’s decision.
RESOLVED: that the attached list of decisions issued by East Herts Council along with the contents of the email be noted.

386. PROPOSED RAISED FLAT TOPPED TABLE OUTSIDE THE HAVERS PARADE SHOPPING AREA AND PROPOSED RAISED FLAT TOPPED TABLE OUTSIDE THE ARCHERS PUBLIC HOUSE ROAD HUMP
Members had been circulated with a letter from Hertfordshire Highways concerning the above proposed traffic calming alterations on Cemetery Road. Members considered that the flat top table outside the Archers Public House should be moved closer to the junction with Waytemore Road to increase visibility for both pedestrians and motorists.
RESOLVED: that the comments be forwarded to Hertfordshire Highways.
