Bishop’s Stortford Minibus Trust

The Council runs a fleet of four minubuses providing community transport services.

The fleet is operated on behalf of Bishop's Stortford Minibus Trust which was initially set up to enable elderly and disabled people from Bishop's Stortford to reach local day centres where they can meet, have a midday meal and socialise for the day.  The introduction of two new Community Buses means that youth and community organisations within a 10 mile radius of Bishop’s Stortford can benefit from the facilities available.

The Trust now runs four minibuses with a capacity of up to 16 seats each. Three buses are used regularly during the week, and the third bus is available for one off hire.

Groups must provide their own driver who holds a full UK driving licence (group D1).

The Minibus Trust offers a number of regular services.
