Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan - Newsletter No. 9

Welcome to the latest newsletter for the Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan for Silverleys and Meads Wards.

***Consultation Day at Jackson Square on 8th February***

The Neighbourhood Plan Team is holding a consultation open day at Jackson Square on 8th February 2014 between 10am and 5pm and you are invited to attend at any time throughout the day. There will be the opportunity to view poster displays about the Neighbourhood Plan and meet the volunteer members of the Team. They will be there to discuss any aspect of the Plan and to answer any questions you might have about it and Neighbourhood Planning in general.

The plan is now near completion but we still need your views on our vision and objectives and the policies created to achieve those objectives. We also welcome suggestions for policies that could be included subject to them being within the permitted scope of the Plan. You will also be able obtain draft copies of the eight page summary or the full Plan to take away with you. There will be the opportunity to leave your feedback on the day but you can comment online at www.stortfordplan.org  or email comments@stortfordplan.org if you prefer.

***Revised draft summary now published***

If you don't want to read the draft plan in full but would like an overview of what it contains, you can read the eight page summary at www.stortfordplan.org or look out for the printed version available at the Town Council Offices, the Tourist Information Centre, the Library and Jackson Square from next week.

***Facebook and Twitter***

Remember, you can also comment via our pages on Facebook and Twitter.

We look forward to hearing from you.
