Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan - Newsletter No. 8

Welcome to the latest newsletter for the Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan for Silverleys and Meads Wards. The plan is still at draft stage and we still want your views on every aspect of the plan: the vision and objectives, the policies drafted so far, and suggestions for other policies that should be included. You can comment online at www.stortfordplan.org or you can email your comments to comments@stortfordplan.org.

***Draft non-technical summary now published!***

If you don't want to read the draft plan in full but would like an overview of what it contains, you can now download a 15 page non-technical summary at www.stortfordplan.org. This describes the vision and objectives of the Neighbourhood Plan and includes all the main themes covered by the plan:  Housing and Design, Environment and Green Spaces, Transport, Schools, Health, Sport and Business.

***Town Centre Issues***

As you may be aware, a large section of Bishop's Stortford  town centre is included in either Silverleys or Meads Ward and the team is keen to get your views on issues affecting development in the area.  We have created a simple questionnaire at http://www.bishopsstortfordtc.gov.uk/content/town-centre which should take just a few minutes to complete. You don't need to answer every question but it would be useful to hear your views where you have them. Not every issue can be dealt with via the Neighbourhood Plan but it can help shape the direction of future development in the town. Again, if you prefer, you can email your comments to comments@stortfordplan.org.

***Facebook and Twitter***

Remember, you can also follow our plan on Facebook and Twitter

We look forward to hearing from you.
