These are available to read and download at  The policies are still at a very early draft stage and are subject to change but in the meantime we welcome your comments and suggestions. You can do so online by using the 'Add New Comment' tab on the relevant pages or you can write to us.

Focus Groups

We would like to thank those who attended our Focus Groups last week and provided input.  As a reminder, we have two more Focus Groups this week, tonight and Thursday as follows:

  • Green Spaces and Environment - 25 June
  • Housing and Design - 27 June

The meetings will take place at BSTC on Windhill at 7.00pm and will last up to two hours. If you would like to attend, please contact to reserve a place.

Consultation Day at Rhodes - 20th July 2013

In the meantime, remember that we are holding an Open Day at Rhodes on Saturday, 20 July from 9.30am to 3.30pm where you can attend an exhibition and workshops on the draft Neighbourhood Plan for Silver Leys and Meads Wards. You can attend for the whole day or just pop in for a few minutes - the choice is up to you.

You will be able to find out more about our Neighbourhood Plan, comment on the objectives and policies that have been developed so far and suggest others that could be included. There will also be presentations on Neighbourhood Planning in general for those who would like to know more about the process.  These will be held at 10.00am, 12.00pm and 2.00pm so you can time your visit accordingly if you wish to attend.

Further draft sections of the plan will be published at as they evolve.
