Town Twinning

For over 40 years Bishop's Stortford has been twinned with Villiers-sur-Marne, some 12 miles east of Paris, and Friedberg, which is about 20 miles from Frankfurt.

Town Twinning provides the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy another way of living. The primary objective is to foster more goodwill in the world - to improve understanding between nations by forging links between individuals.

Bishop's Stortford Town Twinning Association (B.S.T.T.A.) is an outward looking, modern, non-political, non-sectarian movement, eager to extend its membership and to welcome any local resident interested in the aims and ideals of Town Twinning.
